Solmeta Geotagger N3 - sturdy and economical
Very sturdy but powersaving Geotagger with built-in line of sight compass.
GPS coordinates straight into your photo
The MTK-Chip provides a precise but also fast realtime determination of your degree of longitude, latitude, height and time. All of these informations will be directly saved into every single photo you take.
Economical and precise
The Solmeta Geotagger N3 comes equipped with a very effective "Powersaving-Cycle". If the exposure gauge is running, the Geotagger automatically switches to power-saving-mode after 3 minutes. Then the GPS-Receiver will be turned off and wakes up in growing intervals of time to refresh your location status. With this intelligent but efficient technology, you'll save real power but also keep the fast booting-time, when starting the warm device.
For a position even without GPS Receiver, the Last-Fix-Repeat "LFR" technology will take control, and uses the last coordinate seen and is therefor ready when you hit the trigger for a snapshot.
Optimized compass
The optimized 3-Axis compass, contained in the Solmeta Geotagger N3 is also providing your line of sight in Degrees (°) to your camera¹ and your photos. The line of sight will also be written into the data of your photos(JPG and NEF), besides the usual GPS-Data(Exif).
¹ The camera can be tilt to up to ±75°. When taking shots in portrait (90°) the compass' functionality is only working particularly. Nikon COOLPIX A, P7700 and P7800 ignore the compass functions.
Solid case
The coiled cable is firmly connected to the Geotagger, which ensures the sturdiness.
Status informations are provided by the N3 within LED's which can always be seen clearly.
There also is a jack for a remote trigger in the case. A fitting Cable-Release is contained in the scope of delivery.
